It is during such inspections that, our HSE staff offer recommendations on the right Personal Protective Equipments(PPE's) for OMC's and BDC's in Ghana.

Stock Monitoring

We use modern gadgets in stock monitoring that offer our clients ease and accuracy in current stock figures at fuel stations and stock depots. We install mobile applications with sensors linked to underground tanks that makes it possible for OMC's and BDC's to remotely monitor stocks at various depots and fuel stations.

EnviRo-Care – A New Concept

Marine and Aquatic debris is one of the most widespread solvable pollution problems plaguing the world’s oceans, rivers, and lakes. Successful management of the problem requires a comprehensive understanding of marine and aquatic environments together with the necessary experience and the correct selection of proven equipment. OIL SPILL RESPONSE SERVICES

We design and manufacture an extensive range of systems to recover oil and chemicals from the marine and inland environment including industrial applications. The products include skimmers, booms, storage tanks, power packs, pumps, dispersant systems, vessels and ancillary items. We produce an extensive range of oil skimmers including disc, mop, weir, belt, brush, drum and vacuum systems. Each of these skimmer types is available in a range of sizes. This enables us to provide the ideal skimmer for any application. This equipment is used by all the major oil spill response operations around the world. In addition to this supply, we offer comprehensive equipment consultancy including audits, gap analysis, training and commissioning. Our engineering team is also able to custom design and manufacture specialist systems for most applications and environments including the Arctic. BALLAST WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Looking for a ballast water management system that can be installed easily and without relocating other equipment? CompactClean is the answer.

EQUATOR OIL & GAS CompactClean system is based on filtration and UV radiation. CompactClean is the first ballast water treatment system on the market that takes up so little space - and still has great flowrates. Only 2.8 sqm is necessary for a 1000 m3/h system + 0,6 sqm for the electrical panel, which can be placed up to 100 m from the system itself.

OptiClean Net Energy Saving System

Combination of EQUATOR OIL & GAS’s proven ballast water treatment system RayCleanTM and energy optimization system OptiSaveTM provides annual energy savings in addition to IMO compliant treatment of ballast water. This is the first time any type of ballast water treatment concept has been able to provide a net energy saving to ship owners and operators.

By combining EQUATOR & GAS’s proven energy optimization system OptiSaveTM with its type approved and energy efficient ballast water treatment system RayCleanTM, a ship owner can obtain an annual net energy saving although he treats all ballast water being discharged from the ship.

ABSORBENTS

Deck Spill Kit

EQUATOR & GAS has designed a DECK SPILL KIT comprising well-proven equipment to meet OPA regulations for shipboard deck spillages. This kit can also be used for docks, piers, barges and other areas where spills can occur.

The contents cover all the areas required such as oil absorbents, hand tools, containers and a pump. The contents of the kit are as follows; Impact resistance plastic storage box, with smooth washable finish for storage of equipment (except sorbents). Fitted with splash proof lid with gas struts, hasp and staple. Grey colour body with yellow lid. Overall dimensions 1.21 x 10.81 x 0.99 m / 47 x 32 x 39” 1255 kg / 275lbs full.

Aluminium double diaphragm air driven pump, fitted with Buna ‘N’ diaphragms, exhaust muffler, air filter/regulator and rubber base. Maximum output 230 litres/min / 60.76 US gallons/min. Typical output with 80-psi air supply and 100 foot head: 51litres/min / 40 US gallons per minute. Air consumption of 68 Nm³/h / 40 scfm-free air. These performance figures are based on light crude oil with fully flooded suction. Fifteen metres ?” compressed air hose with fittings. 30m of 1¼” layflat discharge hose and 3 metres of suction hose with pump couplings. Set of pump spares. Two plastic scoops with handles. Two plastic shovels. Ten heavy-duty waste sacks manufactured in PVC / nitrile fabric. Twenty plastic liners for waste sacks. Eight oil proof overalls, disposable. Four pairs of safety boots, sizes 9 and 10. Four pairs of red PVC oil proof gloves. Two squeegee blades with wooden handles for pushing oil along the deck to the pump. Two heavy-duty plastic 9 litre / 2 gallon buckets. Two polypropylene mop heads with wooden handles for mopping up oil by hand. The polypropylene fibres attract oil and repel water. One heavy-duty polypropylene wringer bucket, foot activated, for squeezing out the polypropylene mops.

ABSORBENT

Below is a typical quantity or absorbent materials that has an absorption capability of at least 12 barrels (assuming 50% take up). 4 x packs sorbent pads: 100 per pack 40 x 50 cm each. Pack weight 8 kg. 2 x packs sorbent booms: 4 x 3 metre booms 20 cm diameter. Pack weight 22 kg 4 x boxes SORBAIDE “pom poms”: 100 per box. Pack weight 18 kg The sorbent booms and pads are suitable for medium or light oil. SORBAIDE are suited to heavy oils such as bunker oil. Storage containers can be provided for sorbents if required. The RO-CLEAN EQUATOR & GAS DECK SPILL KIT contains waste oil sacks that can be used for sorbents and are oil tight. STORAGE (optional, not included in the standard kit) EQUATOR & GAS can provide various storage options to be included in the kit if required.
